			Synopsis
Tokyo, 1946. Accused of war crimes, 28 of the highest-ranking Japanese officials during WWII, including former Prime Minister Hideki Tojo, are facing the International Military Tribunal for the Far East.
Many judges demanded that the Emperor of Japan be also brought to justice with the other defendants. But Washington insisted that Hirohito remained on his throne.
Modeled on Nuremberg, the trial will last two and a half years. Why that long?
