An event that brings together young people with Tourette Syndrome

Synopsis

Life with Tourette’s is no picnic. It’s an incurable genetic neurological disorder causing uncontrollable verbal outbursts and physical movements (called tics) that develop in childhood. Some have frequent outbursts of highly socially inappropriate swearing that they have no control over.

In this film, we follow five young with Tourette Syndrome who take part in this annual event, called Camp Twitch, together with 115 attendees. For most of them, this is the first time that they meet someone with the same affliction.

They come here to celebrate their uniqueness and achieve things they never thought possible.
