Synopsis

This film tells the story of Franco Pinna's photograph, taken in Rome in June 1952 during an anti-American demonstration. It depicts a protester under arrest as two reporters on a Lambretta look on, also photographing the scene.

The photo features what the history of photography considers to be the first true paparazzo Tazio Secchiaroli, the most feared celebrity hunter on Via Veneto, who would become Fellini's unwitting muse for “La Dolce Vita”.
