Synopsis

In 1948, on a street of Paris, Doisneau captured a fleeting moment through a shop window, in the complicit silence of his lens. This “oblique gaze” was to reveal one of the most prolific photographers of the post-war period.

Always on the lookout like a hunter of moments, he immortalized the ephemeral. This subtle, elusive image brings us back to a time when the still image was not yet an art form but already felt like one.
