Synopsis

In the desolated subantarctic island of Kerguelen, the end of the winter reveals a barren beach abandoned to the penguins.

But day after day, thousands of sea elephants gather there. Very soon males start fighting for control of their harem, which can include up to 100 females, while penguins flee the battlefield.

This exceptional film captures incredible fighting scenes in the most hostile environment.
