Synopsis

Michelangelo was an artist from Tuscany who was dedicated to his art and whose most affluent patrons paid a fortune for his services. He lived alone, prey to many demons until he died in Rome at the age of 89. He blossomed artistically, thanks to Lorenzo de’ Medici.

He left behind the famous frescoes on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican, a masterpiece of the Renaissance.
