Synopsis

A genius letter writer with a funny and spirited style, Madame de Sévigné knew how to show and tell all the big and little details of what was going on at the royal court and in Paris in the 17th century.

The marquise was a great seductress, arousing the interest of the kingdom's most powerful men like Fouquet or Turenne without giving in to their advances.

But above all, she loved her daughter in a devastating and abusive way.
