Synopsis

Wallis Simpson, a.k.a. the Duchess of Windsor, was vilified throughout her life.

An orphan born in misery in Baltimore, in the United States, she collected lovers and even worked in brothels. A fatal beauty, divorced twice, she seduced Prince Edward to the dismay of his father, King George V of England, who hated this "American woman without principles". Enraptured, the prince gave her jewelry and diamonds from the Crown's treasury.

In December 1936, the man who became King Edward VIII renounced the throne for fear of losing his great love. She becomes the most hated woman in Britain.
