Synopsis

Suleiman the Magnificent is a legendary sultan whose empire spread to Europe, Asia, and Africa in the 16th century. Traces of Suleiman can be found in the streets of Istanbul, on the walls of the palace, and even in the city's culture. He owed his greatness to his many military conquests. From Baghdad to Vienna, his armies terrorized their opponents.

To Sophie's surprise, there is still a well-known object that his troops used to inspire fear: the cymbal, whose manufacturing process has never changed.
