Synopsis

Many of rainforest animals face extinction as their habitat is eroded by deforestation and agriculture.

Two of these, the gaur and the tapir, are currently listed as critically endangered. Captive breeding has provided a much-needed lifeline.

The Wildlife Department embarks on a desperate mission to release captive gaur back into the wild to help boost the natural population.
