A scandal or a necessity?

Synopsis

Nowadays in Bolivia, children as young as 10 are legally allowed to work. They can be seen everywhere.

While this regulation has outraged international organizations, the children themselves and their union that led the campaign to lower the legal working age welcomed it.

This law reopens the debate on child labor. Should it be banned, even if that denies a country's social reality? Should it be acknowledged to provide young workers with some kind of protection? Will the Bolivian example inspire other countries?
