Synopsis

In many Indigenous communities across Canada, the youth suicide rate is five to six times higher than the national average—a legacy of centuries of colonial policies and cultural disconnection.

To address this, the Wapikoni organization travels the country with a mobile audiovisual production studio, supporting young people aged 15 to 35 in making their own films. It serves as a tool for self-expression, cultural transmission, and, at times, healing.
