Synopsis

Four and a half years after the disaster, the Japanese government has declared the town of Nahara officially safe for habitation, but fewer than 10% of its former residents wish to return.

This film gives a voice to those who have come back, those who have doubts, and those who resist the official narrative: a terminally ill Buddhist priest who continues his fight against nuclear power, and an engineer determined to prove that decontamination remains incomplete.

The gap between the proclaimed normality and the reality people are living remains immense.
