From fame to anonymity

Synopsis

Yves-Marie le Bourdonnec was the star of Parisian butchers. In 2010, the New York Times named his burger "the best steak in the world'" At the time, he was the supplier of choice for top Parisian chefs such as Yannick Alléno and Alain Ducasse.

But in 2022, his professional career took a new turn. During his holidays in an isolated region of France, he frequented the local butcher's shop as a customer. When the owner told him that he was retiring with no successor, Yves-Marie Le Bourdonnec decided to take over, become an anonymous shopkeeper again, and rebuild a whole new clientele.
