Synopsis

Sarayaku is both a territory and a group of people living in the Amazon Forest.

Spread across seven communities, they defend their Kichwa culture and the area against repeated attempts from companies to extract oil there.

Alongside Abigail, Ilda, Angun, and Tupac, we discover a utopia as lush as the immense forest which shelters it: direct democracy, transparency, equality for all, and the defense of the living and biodiversity.
