Synopsis

The Lesser Antilles stretch from the south of the Caribbean arc to the South American subcontinent. The discreet little sisters of the Greater Antilles, Barbados, Saint Vincent, and the Grenadines form a string of little-known pearls that stand out for their refreshing authenticity and largely unspoiled natural environment.

Their Amerindian populations were mixed during European colonization and the influx of enslaved Africans. Today, they have elevated the gentle way of life to an art form.

A haven of calm and beauty, this (former) confetti of the British Empire is far removed from the conventional images of the Caribbean.
