Synopsis

Columban was an Irish saint who established an evangelical mission in the town of Luxeuil, located in the Vosges region and known since antiquity for the quality of its waters.

However, recent archeological excavations have shown that his role was much more political and strategic and the monastery he founded became quite famous.

Its aura remains today, despite the vicissitudes of history, and inspired the city to develop a European spiritual network, spanning from Ireland to Italy and Switzerland.
