Synopsis

Marseille is probably the French city where one least expects to find castles, yet its history offers a rich and varied heritage.

From the thwarted destiny of famous writer Marcel Pagnol in the castle of La Buzine to the three emblematic castles of the Old Port, this film retraces their history which, despite a few blunders, remain multifaceted monuments whose appeal goes far beyond the borders of Provence.
