Synopsis

Painted by a pupil of Giotto, this 14th-century triptych was lost, dismantled and then miraculously reassembled. It is now on display at the Marmottan-Monet Museum.

Its author, the elusive Master of Cesi, slowly rises from obscurity thanks to the work of devoted scholars.
