Synopsis

Oregon is one of those enigmatic states, little known to the public, yet its terrain is marked by the fascinating history of the conquest of the West.

The origin of its name is still rather obscure today. Some say it is a distortion of the French word "ouragan", for hurricane, a reminder of the harshness of the elements here.

In Oregon, there are mountains that rise to 4,000 meters, dotted with volcanoes. Opposite, there are the rugged shores facing the ocean, which is Pacific in name only.
