SOUTH AFRICA, THE RAINBOW NATION

The beauty of the world

An episode from the series PANORAMAS

Synopsis

When it comes to the diversity, wealth, and depth of the fauna and flora, no country comes even close to South Africa. Hippos, lions, ostriches, elephants, whales, and crocodiles are just an easy snapshot away, set against breathtaking backdrops of mountains that turn into savannahs and deserts into beaches.

A similar diversity is reflected in its population. Emerging from a chaotic history, South Africa is still working toward its dream of a "Rainbow Nation," where men of all colors live peacefully together.
