Synopsis

Cradle of great empires and rulers such as Soundiata Keita, Bamako sways to the sound of the kora strings played by the griots, the fame storytellers, and with the guitars of Vieux Farka Touré, son of legendary bluesman Ali Farka Touré.

Although Mali has been torn by war and terrorism in recent years, the country's youth is keen on moving forward, leaning on strong traditions but without shutting off the outside world.
