Synopsis

Two Bolivian musical heroes return from exile to play at a national celebration, the Wilka Kuti, the Return of the Sun.

These two musicians were forced to flee when the country fell into dictatorship in the 1980s. Their music was the backbone of the people's movement, which enabled Evo Morales to be elected as the country's president in 2006.

This film explores the Native Renaissance and the significance of Indian culture.
