Synopsis

Alexander’s generals pleaded with him to pause before undertaking a new campaign. The troops were exhausted, and it would enable him to take the time to prepare in Macedonia before conquering the Mediterranean.

Against all advice, Alexander decided to go on and launched his troops toward India.
