Synopsis

The Choqek'iraw site is located at an altitude of 3,100m in the Peruvian Andes. It is often referred to as "the other Machu Picchu" since its rediscovery in the middle of the 19th century.

Thanks to recent archaeological finds made there, Choqek'iraw is one of the best way to approach the Inca civilization, the largest empire of pre-Columbian America.
