Synopsis

Zoige, in the high plateaus of Sichuan, is home to one of China’s most spectacular ecosystems.

Amid vast grasslands, wetlands, forests, and snow-capped peaks, animals such as yaks, Tibetan foxes, pikas, vultures, and black-necked cranes have developed remarkable strategies to survive at altitudes of over 3,000 meters.

Alongside them, nomadic herders preserve a way of life shaped by the seasonal migrations of their livestock.
