RUSSIA, THE FEMINIST RESISTANCE

The world in all its states

An episode from the series ARTE INVESTIGATION

Synopsis

From the very day after the invasion of Ukraine, Russian feminists began organizing against the war. Their opposition to the regime, through protests, underground networks, or exile, exposed them to arrest and legal prosecution.

This film follows three generations of activists who connect their struggle against the war with their fight against violence towards women and state repression.
