Synopsis

In northern Mali, a forgotten war is resurfacing: the Azawad Liberation Front has been fighting the Malian junta and Russian mercenaries from Wagner, now rebranded Africa Corps.

In July 2024, the Battle of Tinzawatène marks a turning point: 84 Russian soldiers are killed, marking a first victory. But far from the fighting, 300,000 displaced people continue to flee.
