Synopsis

The world’s preeminent giraffe researcher, Dr. Francois Deacon, embarks on the most ambitious project in giraffe conservation to date.

On the rugged and untamed plains of South Africa’s Rooipoort Nature Reserve, Dr. Deacon sets out to capture and put a GPS collar on more than 20 giraffes, that will enable him to study the animal’s every move and behavior for the next year.
